Greater London Enterprise (GLE) is London’s economic development company, wholly owned by all 33 London boroughs and therefore in a unique position to deliver economic regeneration across the capital. GLE operates commercially and receives no public subsidy.

Commercially and constitutionally independent, GLE operates outside the framework of public spending controls which apply to local authorities and invests its profits, commercial skills and know-how to help make economic regeneration happen.

GLE is influential in formulating public policy, developing innovative delivery solutions.

GLE continues to build on its successful financial record which enables it to borrow, lend, invest and manage funds and assets that underpin the improvement agenda for London.
