Intensive Support Programme (ISP)
Following the one-day workshop, 15 companies promising the highest growth potential are carefully selected against core criteria, to participate in the Intensive Support Programme (ISP). The ISP aims to provide tailor-made support to the chosen creative businesses, including:
- An individual business assessment conducted by a panel of experts. This is based on an initial pitch-simulated presentation given by the entrepreneur. The panel then provides feedback concerning possible weaknesses in the company’s business model.
- A series of workshops that provide advice and expertise on preparing for all aspects of raising finance. These cover topics such as business planning and strategy, financial and legal situations, marketing and selling, team building, and pitching to investors.
- One-to-one mentoring from an investment expert. Each participating entrepreneur is assigned a business mentor for the duration of the ISP programme. The mentors are all experienced in the world of investment, thus providing the entrepreneurs with a wealth of advice and knowledge.
- A final individual business assessment. Once again this is based on a pitch-simulated presentation given to the panel. The initial presentation is used as a benchmark to examine the progress made by the company.
- The chance to pitch directly to investment angels and venture capitalists at the investors fair.
Taking place over four to five months, the ISP gives entrepreneurs a substantial head start when looking to raise finance and achieve rapid growth
