Investment marketplace

The investment marketplace is the culmination of the programme.  The event provides entrepreneurs with an excellent opportunity to begin their efforts to raise finance. The fair is also intended to increase the level of investment in the creative and innovative industries, which traditionally has been avoided by investors.

The last Investment market place held in May this year was a great success.  10 entrepreneurs gave presentations to a room full of investors, and all 16 ‘graduating’ companies held stands at the event, which allowed them to display their products, demonstrate their services and distribute executive summaries/business plans to interested parties.  The marketplace layout meant entrepreneurs could talk to investors individually in an informal environment.  Wine and canapés accompanied further networking into the evening.

Next year’s investment marketplace takes place on May 15th 2008 in the Great Hall of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in central London.
