GLE Deliver Work and Business Advisory Services in the Central Bohemian Region
Tuesday 3rd April 2012
GLE's Prague team have been delivering a new project to help those, in the Czech Republic, who are furthest from the labour market, access work and business advisory services.
The project is supported by the European Social Fund, as part of the Operational Programme for Human Resources and Employment, and the Czech Republic Government.
The project aims to develop the knowledge and skills of immigrants and people over 50, in the Czech Republic, to increase their employment prospects.
The programme will also provide support and guidance for start-up entrepreneurs.
GLE will deliver this support through:
- individual consultations for people looking for employment or start-up business support;
- seminars covering start-up business and job search-related topics;
- practical workshops on running a business or working within a 'virtual organisation';
- workshops covering business basics.
Clients are offered a choice between accessing employment and start-up business support, however, in all cases, individual consultations form the basis of the support provided.
Employment support offered by the project includes support with:
- CVs
- job interviews
- finding a job
- your rights as an employee
The business support function of the project includes help with:
- business planning
- marketing
- start-up finance options
- start-up entrepreneurs' legal obligations
Seminars are also planned, as part of the project, to provide clients with a more general overview of employment and start-up business information. These will be hosted at GLE's offices in Prague and in cities across the Central Bohemian region, for larger client groups.
The "Work and business advisory services in Central Bohemian Region” project aims to support at least 180 people from the target groups mentioned, and host two networking events for supported clients.
The project team include Advisers, Tomáš Ryba and Martina Koczová, Project and Financial Manager, Michaela Barotková and Project Assistant, Kateřina Bartošová.
