London Councils European Service
London Councils, the association of London boroughs, represents the 33 London local authorities and is committed to fighting for more resources for the capital and getting the best possible deal for London. The London Councils European Service is a key part of this, ensuring London gets a fair share of EU funding and that the boroughs are well equipped to access and maximise the funding available.
GLE has delivered the European Service since 2000, working in London and Brussels to deliver strategic advice, funding support and intelligence to maximise economic development opportunities for your borough.
"For our Daphne project they have been a valuable member of our project team, offering expert guidance, advice and insights to steer us through the bid development process, including facilitating our partnership, providing one to one consultancy sessions, responding to any questions (liaising with the Commission on our behalf if necessary), advising on managing EU funds and providing feedback on draft proposals and bids." Funding and Partnerships officer, RB Kensington and Chelsea
"London, through its London Councils European Service, has established itself in the most effective way by bringing local level expertise to the attention of European policy makers." Rudolf Niessler, former Head of Unit for Urban Actions, DG Regional Policy, European Commission
