UK Trade & Investment’s (UKTI) London International Trade Adviser, Bryan Treherne, MBE, was celebrating success after scooping an award at the International Trade Awards last night.
Held in the impressive Cholmondeley Room at the House of Lords, the International Trade Awards ceremony, sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking, celebrates ventures and successes of companies competing on the international stage.
Bryan Treherne MBE, an International Trade Adviser with the London International Trade Team, was awarded the prestigious International Trade Lifetime Achievement Award following his long time service and tireless effort for UKTI London and the Croydon Chamber of Commerce.
Parveen Thornhill, International Trade Director for UKTI London said: “I am delighted that we are able to celebrate this well-deserved success for one of our London International Trade Advisers. Bryan is much loved by colleagues and clients alike and hundreds of companies have benefitted from his knowledge and expertise over the many years that he has worked at UKTI. I was even more thrilled to see Bryan collect his award in person.”
Lesley Batchelor of the Institute of Export said: “Bryan Treherne is a member of the Institute and has served on the board in the past. This award in particular celebrates the successes of unsung heroes. Bryan has demonstrated his dedication to the industry, working part time as an International Trade Advisor and part-time for the Croydon Chamber of Commerce, sharing his knowledge gained across a very successful career for the benefit of individuals and businesses. He thrives in the achievements of others, he always helps where he can and does what he says he's going to do."
Now entering their fourth year, the 2010/11 International Trade Awards, sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking, are the only UK wide business awards to exclusively recognise the excellence achieved by the UK’s leading exporters and importers.
