The consultancy involved research into skills issues in the Third Sector with the aim of building a better understanding of the factors impacting on the growth and development of the sector. A report entitled Competitveness and Social Inclusion - Investing in the Third Sector Skills Development, widely acknowledged as a landmark publication, set out the key challenges in the sector. |

| Following on from the intial report The Role of Community Centres in Islington: Examples from Elsewhere, this study involved a contextual audit and SWOT analysis of the Holloway Neighbourhood Group (HNG) to determine its potential in developing more commercial activities from their existing activities which allow the Centre to become financially sustainable in the longer-term. |
