Project title: Volunteer partnerships - the new deal

  GLE oneLondon produced a guide for NCVO to help voluntary organisations understand and develop partnerships which can deliver a high quality and effective New Deal for unemployed 18-24 year olds.

 

Project title: Community needs survey

Funder : London borough of Barking and Dagenham
  GLE oneLondon undertook a survey of target communities in priority wards within Barking and Dagenham. The survey focused on the support and motivational needs of local people in order to improve access to and take up of jobs, education and training. GLE oneLondon's methodology involved employing and training a team of local residents to carry out the surveys

 

Project title: Evaluation and capacity building of local learning partnerships
Dates run: 1999
Boroughs occupied: London borough of Tower Hamlets
Funder : London borough of Tower Hamlets
  A comprehensive mapping and evaluation of guidance and counselling services for adults in Tower Hamlets. Analysis of existing provision and local capacity-building needs led to recommendations on the future structure of provision in the borough, with reference to national policy on the development of quality guidance and counselling services, Learning and Skills Councils and Local Learning Partnerships.
