Book-keeping made simple

Most people miss the point of book-keeping and only bother with it because the tax man demands it, the accountant needs it, or the bank is demanding to see the figures.

This one day course will deal with the basics of bookkeeping aimed to help entrepreneurs understanding what accounting information is important to effectively manage their businesses.

The prime focus is in developing a simple cash book from which a profit and loss account and balance sheet is extracted. A cash flow reconciliation is then produced to highlight the crucial difference between cash and profit.
