Business spaces at Dagenham Business Centre are now available

GLE Property Developments Ltd have successfully completed construction of the Dagenham Business Centre with our Joint Venture partner, the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham (LBBD). The centre was launched in November 2011, by the Mayor of Dagenham.

Barking and Dagenham has one of the highest start-up rates for new businesses in the country and the new business centre provides additional modern attractive and environmentally advanced space for small and medium sized enterprises to grow and expand their businesses within the borough.

The business centre features around 34,000 square feet of small B1 units, which include a variety of attractive modern workshops, office accommodation and studio space for small and medium sized enterprises in 21 units of between 840 - 3,681 square feet.

The centre has achieved a BREAAM Excellent rating, which is the world’s leading design and assessment method for sustainable buildings. The environmental aspects of the scheme also helped it secure part-funding from the London Development Agency’s European Regional Development Fund Programme.

This wonderful statement building, situated next to Central Park in Rainham Road North, in Dagenham, was undertaken following a development agreement between GLE Property Developments and the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.

The London Borough of Dagenham is one of only two London Boroughs that has secured Government funding for the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative programme (LEGI), which partly funded the development.

Early interest has been very encouraging and a number of the units have already been quickly reserved.
