London Councils Co-financing programmes

The London Councils Co-financing programmes, managed by GLE, provide training, advice and guidance to help workless people access the labour market. By focusing support on groups facing the greatest barriers to the labour market, such as homeless people, disabled people, women returners and refugees, the programmes also contribute to tackling social exclusion in London.

Working closely with the London boroughs, voluntary sector and other training providers to offer training and support, the London Councils Co-financing programmes offer clear pathways to work for thousands of Londoners.

There are ten co-financing organisations in London: the five London Learning and Skills Councils (LSCs), the London Development Agency, Jobcentre Plus and London South Connexions. Their contact details and information on their ESF Objective 3 programmes can be found on the Government Office for London website
For more information on London’s ESF Objective 3 programme please contact Stephen Boon, stephen.b@gle.co.uk or 020 7940 1565.
