LDA ESF Capacity Building project
'Supporting Successful Delivery'
GLE delivers the Supporting Successful Delivery project on behalf of the London Development Agency (LDA). The objective of the project is to deliver a range of technical support services to projects funded under LDA European Social Fund co-financing programme 2005-2007. GLE will be supporting 31 pan-London LDA ESF funded projects using this approach.
GLE has a strong track record in ESF programme management and in providing capacity building support. Having worked with various funded organisations GLE is familiar with the issues and challenges an ESF project can face. Data accuracy, comprehensiveness and timeliness are too often compromised through weaknesses in systems and staff expertise, and a lack of systems for checking integrity and consistency of data can jeopardise claims and delay payments, undermining the success of the project itself for beneficiaries.

Information about the LDA ESF Co-financing programme 2005-2007
The LDA ESF Co-financing programme for 2005 - 2007 has £9.8m to contract out to training organisations working with economically excluded groups. Under ESF Objective 3, the programme looks to address the needs of a variety of groups who are facing difficulties in obtaining or retaining employment. The projects funded under this programme will seek to:
31 pan-London organisations have been awarded funding to run a range of projects that meet the needs of these target groups. Projects began in January 2005 and will run until September 2007.
