GLE Group provides the full spectrum of financial products to support businesses and organisations across the UK to grow, from grants and loans, to cashflow and equity finance.

Managing a variety of grants programmes, we can provide finance to people, businesses and organisations for childcare placements, international trade support, technology research, to manufacturing organisations and to voluntary and community organisations providing ESF-funded projects.

Through our loan finance team, the Group can provide direct loans up to £250,000 to SMEs and social enterprises, whilst also being able to provide the capital to other loan funds to distribute. The cashflow finance arm of the business further supports SMEs through services including payroll and sales ledger management, financing in 2008-09 £340m of clients' turnover.

With over £300m of investment funds under management, in 2008-09 GLE Group provided private equity and venture capital to more UK small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) than any other investor in the marketplace - for the fifth consecutive year. Offering up to £8m, our geographical spread enables us to invest in businesses across the UK and our investment team, which is one of the largest in the UK, offers significant breadth and depth of expertise.
