Madeleine Williams

Madeleine Williams was director of major events for the GLC and deputy chief executive of the ALG before establishing the London Development Partnership in 1998, before moving to GLE in 2000. Madeleine opened London's first Brussels base in 1994, and has developed co-operation on urban issues by co-ordinating London delegations to Brussels, Barcelona and Berlin. Madeleine directed The London Study, a research project on sustainable urban development funded by the Commission and key London partners, and has been involved in EU projects on Anti-Racism networks, Policing the Internet, Urban Indicators and Sustainable Cities.
Clare Sharpen

Clare is responsible for delivering Enterprise Europe Network London on behalf of the European Commission and London Development Agency. Clare leads on developing and managing capacity building projects for the London Development Agency, and in delivering training and organisational development work. Clare is a director of a London-based social enterprise and has published research on social enterprise. Clare holds an MSc in Development Management from the Open University and MA in Social Anthropology from Cambridge, is a member of the CIPD and a qualified trainer.

Lauren currently manages the Relay London Jobs project, a pan-London jobs brokerage network that is part of the recruitment mechanism for the 2012 Games and the LEST initiative to get 70,000 Londoners into work by 2012. She also supervises several other employment focussed projects including the ESOL for parents programme in West London and delivers training and consultancy in job brokerage. She is experienced in developing training programmes and delivering employment support and IAG and previously managed a large volunteer programme for a national charity.
Nathalie Guri

Prior to joining GLE, Nathalie worked for the Association of French Local Authorities (Cités Unies France) in Paris and in the EU Programmes Coordination Unit of the Czech Ministry of Finance and the Czech Ministry for Regional Development in Prague. Nathalie has post-graduate degrees in European Project Management and in Czech Language and Civilisation. She is a native French speaker, is fluent in English and Czech and also speaks Russian and Albanian. Nathalie specialises in work within central and eastern Europe, especially in the Czech Republic where Nathalie heads up GLE's Prague office. Nathalie manages the Prague office, this includes office management, communication, accountancy, and last but not least securing and delivering a wide range of contracts and projects in the field of EU funding, social integration, evaluation, capacity building, etc.

Stephen is an experienced project and programme manager who heads the London Councils ESF programmes team at GLE. Stephen also delivers a range of consultancy support for clients such as the LDA and local authorities. He gained a MA (Distinction) level in European Affairs from the University of Lund and also holds a BA in European Studies and French from King's College London and the London School of Economics. Stephen speaks French and Swedish.

Clare is the Training Manager responsible for maintaining GLE’s recognised centre licences and delivering accredited and non accredited training to a range of public, private and third sector learners. Her training provision includes accredited training modules on Funding Strategies and Bid Writing, Project Management and IAG with a Job Brokerage pathway. She has delivered training for a pan-European Equal project evaluation for over 40 delegates in Prague. Clare previously project managed the LDA Opportunities Fund 1 and 2 capacity building projects. She has previously worked in the voluntary sector for over five years in both England and India. Clare has a BA (Hons) in Comparative Religion from the University of Manchester and holds a City and Guilds 7407 Stage 2 Certificate in Further Education Teaching, and is an NOCN Internal Moderator.

Christina is the Programme Data Manager for Enterprise Europe Network London, managed by GLE. She studied Business Administration in the University of Economics and Business in Athens and did a double Masters degree in International Business in “Haute Ecole de Commerce Paris” and “Esade Business School” in Barcelona. Before joining GLE she was working in Brussels in the Representative Office of the Greek Chambers, where she participated in various projects, such as the 1st European Parliament of SMEs. She speaks Greek, English, French and Spanish.

Durmish Guri

Durmish works in the Prague office where he focuses on the development of contracts and projects in the field of the enterprise development and business support. In the framework of the project „Enterpreneurship as a route out of social exclusion“ financed from the OPPA programme, Durmish works as the specialized trainer and supervisor, providing advice and guidance to the project team. Durmish also promotes GLE expertise through meetings and participating in various events in the Czech Republic. Prior to joining GLE Prague office, Durmish worked as a researcher and international business adviser for GLE OneLondon and UKTI. Durmish also has his own experience of running a business as he used to run his own small building industry company in Greece in the late 90s. He holds a Master’s degree in International Trade with specialisation in Central and Eastern European countries at the Institute of European Studies in Paris VIII. He is a native Albanian speaker, is fluent in French and English and can also speak Greek.

Eleanor is a Contract Manager on the London Councils ESF programmes; managing and providing support to 16 funded projects across London. She has previously worked on the London Councils NRF ESF programme and LDA Capacity Building project as a Project Support Officer. Eleanor has an Environmental Science degree from Aberystwyth University and an MSc in Environmental Rehabilitation from Aberystwyth University and the University of Western Australia, Perth.

Hana worked as a manager of the Supported employment agency in Litomerice (North of the Czech Republic). The agency supported disabled people to enter the labour market. In GLE she has been working as a project manager since January 2009 within the project „Enterpreneurship as a route out of social exclusion“ financed from the OPPA programme. Her responsibilities are managing business advisers, budgeting, communicating with other organisations and project partners, and reporting to the Prague City Hall. Hana graduated in Czech language and literature and Social work at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the Charles University in Prague. She speaks English and Czech fluently, and is also able to communicate in German and Spanish.
Jan Partl

Jan is a business adviser, working in Prague with immigrants, parents with children, and long term unemployed people through the “Entrepreneurship as the way out of social exclusion” project financed by the EU. He speaks Czech and English fluently and has working knowledge of Russian and German. Jan previously worked at the Prague University of Economics and Management Centre in Celakovice town, teaching and providing practical advise on project management, business strategy development, change management and management methods. His advisory activities were oriented towards top managers of business and non business oriented companies.

Josephine is currently project managing the monitoring of London borough of Haringey’s employment programme, the Haringey Guarantee, and also the North London Pledge programme which spans the boroughs of Haringey, Enfield and Waltham Forest. Before starting at GLE in September 2009, Josephine undertook a range of roles within a careers company, including the project management of DCSF programmes and assisting the management of an NVQ training centre, specialising in Information, Advice and Guidance. She has a BA in Business from University of Durham.

He works to support voluntary and community groups in west, east and central London area. Recruitment was one of his main communicative areas. Sam is the project manager for Green Mark - an environmental certification managed and delivered on behalf of London Metropolitan University, which works with a range of organisations to formalise their environmental performance. Sam has worked at GLE for over two years and has worked on a range of Consulting projects including; the Childcare Affordability Programme, Positive Opportunities for Parents and Relay London Jobs. He is a qualified Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) counsellor and has recently completed an accreditated Project Management course.

Before working for GLE, he used to work in the tax advisory and consumer protecion fields where he still takes an active role. Tomáš graduated at the Economic Faculty of the West Bohemia University in Pilsen and the Institute of Finance and Administration. He speaks English and Czech fluently.
