GLE Consulting has been granted £1.3m funding from the Learning and Skills Council to deliver a new programme of employment support to parents in west London. The programme pilots a new package of support to parents who speak English as a second language in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow and will be rolled out over the next two years.

As the lead partner, GLE will be managing a consortium of organisations in west London who will be coming together for the first time to deliver an integrated programme of support. The partnership consists of GLE, the JGA Group, Skills Training UK and Refugees Into Jobs, all of whom have experience of working with the client group and delivering employment and skills support. The programme is being delivered in alliance with the London City Strategy Pathfinders and so Carla Jacobs (Project Manager) will be working closely with West London Working to ensure that the programme compliments existing provision in the region.
